Quang Ninh received more than 1.5 million international visitors.

According to the statistics of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in the first eight months of 2011, the number of international tourists coming to Ha Long is over 1.5 million, up about 12% over the same period of 2010.

The enterprises who receive international travelers from cruise ships are currently actively preparing to welcome international tourists to Quang Ninh at the end of the year.

In the first eight months of the year, Quang Ninh tourism gained a revenue of about VND 2,537 billion, up 12% over the same period last year. The increasing number of international tourists is a positive sign for Ha Long tourism  to enter year end tourism season.
