On Apr. 28, Center for Community Support Development Studies (CECODES) under Union of Science and Technology Vietnam in coordination with United Nations Development Program in Vietnam, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee’s Center for Cadres and Scientific Studies held an online meeting to announce Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index 2019.
According to the announcement based upon points, provinces and cities are divided into 4 groups, namely highest points, the average points, and the lowest points. Quang Ninh ranks the 3rd out of 63 provinces and cities and in the group with the highest points.
PAPI 2019 was conducted with the participation of 14,138 Vietnamese citizens by random selection throughout the country. PAPI survey results from people’s practical experiences and assessment with government performances in governance. It is an important information channel, not only reflecting people's thoughts and aspirations but also serving as a basis for governments at all levels and policy makers to timely adjust and perfect policies and performance methods to be suitable with practical requirements.
