The Prime Minister has decided to present the 2018 National Quality Awards to 75 enterprises, with 22 receiving golden prizes and the remaining 53 businesses getting silver prizes. Of which, the Provincial Quality Assurance and Testing Center of Quang Ninh gets the National Quality Award.
First held in 1996 by the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality (under the Ministry of Science and Techonology), the annual National Quality Awards aims to honour enterprises and organisations that have obtained outstanding achievements in production, business and services, and raising the products’ quality.
Enterprises are judged on seven criteria, including the role of leadership; strategic planning; customer service, knowledge measurement, analysis and management; human resource development; process management and results.
By participating in the National Quality Award, enterprises have a chance to learn from each other, evaluate and comprehensively improve management activities and the quality of their products. This is also a good opportunity for the winning businesses to advertise their products’ trademark as well as to raise the quality and contributing to enhancing their competitiveness in the context of international economic integration.
As planned, the 2018 Golden National Quality Awards and National Quality Awards will be granted to the winners in June, 2019.
