On Oct. 8th, Vice – Chairwoman of Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee Vu Thi Thu Thuy hosted a meeting to review sea & island tourism product development project on Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay, Van Don District and Co To District till 2030.
According to the consultant unit, the project is studied based on the viewpoint of tourism development in line with the biodiversity and nature, meeting tourists’ tastes, thus contributing to affirming the brandname of sea and island tourism products regionally as well as improving competitiveness domestically and internationally.
Accordingly, the project focuses on evaluating factors affecting tourism product development, analyzing unique tourism resouces and competitive advantages of these areas which are considered as a basis for creating special tourism products, building tourism product development orientations in the areas of Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay, Van Don District and Co To District with the purpose of maximizing the advantages of natural conditions, geographical location, cultural features, biodiversity etc.
Concluding the meeting, Quang Ninh’s Vice Chairwoman Vu Thi Thu Thuy emphasized that the project is neccesary to improve the value of tourism products, thereby meeting tourists’ demands and affirming the brand name of Quang Ninh’s sea and island tourism products.
