On Dec, 21, in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee held a meeting to sum up supervision and inspection tasks in 2019 and deploy missions for 2020. Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee Secretary, cum chairman of people’s council, Nguyen Xuan Ky, presided over the meeting.
Reports made by Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee and presentations by delegates at the meeting shared common view on the supervision and inspection in 2019. Accordingly, there was an improvement in the supervision and inspection. The number of supervision and inspection decreased while the quality of work was improved. Leadership’s responsibilities were clarified. The supervision and inspection focused on emerging issues,… The disclosure of information after Provincial Party Inspection Committee’s meetings has created positive effects, especially in preventing violations among cadres, officials, party members and won people's trust in the Party.
Speaking at the meeting, Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of People’s Council acknowledged the supervision and inspection work from provincial level to grass-root level in 2019. He said the work had made contribution to improving PCI Index and PAR Index.
He also noted that it was necessary to strengthen the system of supervision inspection committees and agencies and enhance their co-ordination to uphold the efficiency of supervision inspection.
