A delegation of Quang Ninh province headed by Mrs.Do Thi Hoang- Deputy Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee started its 6-day-working visit to the Guangdong (China) on August 13, 2012. The aim of this visit if to intensify the friendship between Quang Ninh and Guangdong provinces, to concretize the cooperation agreement signed in March, 2011.
Quang Ninh's delegation will have a courtesy call and work with the leaders of Guangdong province as well as the cities, departments and sectors of the province in order to concretize the cooperation agreement between the two sides which was signed in March of 2011.
The agreement focuses on a number of issues, namely: attracting FDI from Guangdong to Quang Ninh ; fostering tourism, import and export activities; to have close collaboration in organizing exhibition fairs in the two provinces; to call for ODA from China to build economic infrastructure of the province; learning experiences of Guangdong province in developing special economic zones, in implementing plans, and in the Party construction.
