On May 9, in Cam Ranh city, Khanh Hoa province, the delegation of Quang Ninh province, led by the Standing Deputy Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee Do Thi Hoang, attended a meeting held by the Vietnam People’s Navy Force on the occasion of the working visit by the N015 delegation, including 204 delegates across the nation to Truong Sa island district and DK 1 platforms.
At the meeting, representative of the 4 Fleet Command of the Vietnam People’s Navy Force emphasiezed that the working visit aims to enhance the propaganda activities on seas and islands in line with the mobilization of all the sources to support the Truong Sa island district and DK 1 platforms, contributing to the socio-economic development of the district and protecting the country’s sea and island sovereignty.
On behalf of the provincial Party, Government and people of Quang Ninh, Mrs. Do Thi Hoang presented a boat with a value of VND 3.5 billion to the Truong Sa’s troops.
In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation visited some of the army units at Cam Ranh military port, and offered incenses to pay tribute to martyrs at the Gac Ma Memorial Monument in Cam Lam commune, Khanh Hoa province.
As planned, the visit lasts 10 days, from May 8-18.
