On May 5, Quang Ninh’s Vice Chairman Dang Huy Hau presided over an online meeting to review tourism activities in summer 2020.
Quang Ninh’s Vice Chairman emphasized that curently, Quang Ninh province is focusing on both pandemic prevention and fostering socio-economic development, including the resume of tourism activities. Upon the opinions given by departments, sectors and localities, an art program launching 2020 summer tourism will be held at FLC luxury resort on May 16.
The Department of Industry and Trade is assigned to make plans for holding Quang Ninh OCOP Fair which gives top priority to the provincial products while the Department of Culture and Sports is responsible for setting detailed plans for cultural and sport programs and events. The Department of Tourism is required to urgently hold meetings with tourism units and travel agencies to recommend proper tourism promotion programs. The Deparment of Information and Communication and Quang Ninh Media Group are assigned to develop communication plans in all infrastructures.
