At Phu Yen Province, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) held a workshop on sharing practical experiences in provincial economic performance as well as the way in which the Department and District Competitiveness Index (DDCI) set have been developed in the South Central region.
At the workshop, VCCI experts from the Central Institute for Economic Management analyzed sub-indices of PCI index 2018 and recommended solutions on improving investment and business environment 2019, ways of recognizing the compliance cost and the role of local authorities in implementing methods to reduce the compliance cost.
The workshop created a good opportunity for participants to learn from experiences shared by provinces and cities with high ranking of PCI.
A representative from Quang Ninh province, Mrs Vu Thi Kim Chi, Deputy Head of Quang Ninh IPA shared some experiences of Quang Ninh about ways to accompany and support investors in the process of investment promotion in the province. Accordingly, Quang Ninh has focused on promoting the investment and business environment, improving competitiveness with new and flexible ways, thus creating the active participation of branches, agencies and business community.
