During 11 days from October 7, Quang Ninh delegation including 25 state officials took an advanced training course in Singapore’s NUS University. The course was designed to improve knowledge and sharpen skills concerning investment promotion.
Participants had a good chance to look at 11 topics consisting of an overview of Singapore's development process, Singapore's experience in promoting investment and improving the investment environment, an integrated supply chain, tourism development, human resources investment, effective public-private partnership management and so forth.
Apart from theoretical study, trainees also visited some centers and government agencies in Singapore such as Singapore Committee for Economic Development (EDB); the Entrepreneur Incubation Centre; Singapore Employment Institute, etc.
As reported, 100% of the students successfully completed the course and received their training certificates.
They are susposed to submit personal reports and group reports to the organizers of the class as prescribed.
Since 2012, Quang Ninh province has organized 70 overseas training courses with a view to fostering and improving professional skills, including 10 classes held in Singapore. These classes have made significant contributions to enhancing the awareness and professional qualifications of state civil servants and officials so as to meet the the province’s development requirements.
