On behalf of Binh Lieu district People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the district Do Xuan Truong gave 20,000 medical masks and 250kg of disinfectants to the people of Fangcheng prefecture of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region's Fangchenggang city (China), to help them deal with the fast-spreading new corona virus epidemic.
He hoped that both sides would continue to maintain regular talks, and closely coordinate with each other as well as promote propaganda to raise the local residents' awareness of ways to prevent and fight against the new corona virus epidemic.
The donation of these supplies to Fangcheng prefecture shows the spirit of mutual support in coordinating to prevent and control the new corona virus while boosting friendship between China and Viet Nam in general as well as Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region's Fangchenggang city and Quang Ninh's Binh Lieu district in particular.
