On Oct. 1, the Provincial Steering Committee of Developing a Learning Soiety, held a ceremony to launch the life-long learning week 2018.
With the theme “Self-learning essence in ways of learning”, the week is scheduled to take place from October 1-7. It aims to encourage the regular and life-long learning of all levels, sectors, organization sand local residents, building a learning society.
During the week, a wide range of exciting activities will be held, such as: forum on self-learning; visit to poor communes in Hai Ha, Mong Cai districts, etc.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh, Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Council asked the educational sector and other departments as well as agencies, organizations and individuals to have a long-term strategy on developing the learning society, continue promoting the spirit of learning and self-learning, and improving the capacity to organise life-long learning activities provincewide.
Traning courses and classes were also asked to be regularly organized to raise the awareness and professional skills for officials and working staffs.
He also directed to honor the excellent organiazations and individuals who actively participated in activities during the week.
