On Dec. 23, in Ha Long City, a ceremony was held to honor the title of typical science and technology intellectuals, typical creative labors, and young talents in science and technology of Quang Ninh province for the first time.
Aiming at affirming the vital roles of intellectuals and young talents in science and technology as well as raising the people's awareness about the significance of research and science - technology application in the province, Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee selected and honored individuals who won title of outstanding intellectuals, typical creative labors and young talents of science and technology in the province.
Speaking at the ceremony, Quang Ninh's Vice Chairwoman Vu Thi Thu Thuy congratulated 74 typical science and technology intellectuals, typical creative workers and young talents in science and technology, who were honored at the ceremony on their achievements.
On this occasion, 46 intellectuals, 26 typical creative labors and 2 young talents in science and technology were granted with QNPPC's Certificates of Merit.
