On Oct. 5, in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee organized a meeting regarding measures to promote tourism demand in the 4th quarter of 2020. Provincial Vice-chairwoman, Nguyen Thi Hanh, presided over the meeting.
Quang Ninh aims to receive 3 million tourist arrivals in the 4th quarter of 2020, and promote tourism activities in 2021 as well as in the next years.
In order the achieve the target, Quang Ninh Department of Tourism had proposed the People’s Committee to undertake such measures as: enhancing cooperation for tourism development, focusing on domestic market, promoting propaganda activities to boost Quang Ninh’s tourism via mass media, increasing flights to Van Don International Airport.
In addition, Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee will launch new programs in the new context. For example “Quang Ninh’s people travel in Quang Ninh”, Quang Ninh Seafood Week, spiritual tourism activities “Autumn reunion – finding peace”, celebrating the day when King Tran Nhan Tong entered nirvana, experience tourism, arts performances, OCOP Fair….
