On the afternoon of July 16, the Department of Industry and Trade held a conference on solutions to improve 2019’s Par Index, PCI, DDCI, SIPAS, etc.
Quang Ninh ranked the 1st in Vietnam’s 2018 Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI). However, Business Support Services Index sharply declined in the ranking, from 3rd to 27th. In 2018, the Industry and Trade’s Department and District Competitiveness Index (DDCI) reached 75.59 points, ranked 7th/21st, Public Administration Reform (Par index ) with 86.95 points, ranked 12th/20th, Satisfaction Index of Public Administration Services (SIPAS) index with 93.43 points, ranked 7th/20th .
At the conference, representatives from relevant department and sectors discussed and analyzed reasons that cause the decline in indicators and proposed concrete solutions to improve these indexes of 2019, thereby contributing to the overall development of the province.
