On Apr 6th, Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee issued Document No 2198/UBND-DL1 on intensifying the Prime Minister’s Directive 16/CT-TTg.
Accordingly
-During the period of nationwide social distancing, Quang Ninh continues imposing 14-day quarantine rules on people who are from or passing through Covid-19 hit areas.
-Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee requires chairmen of districts, towns and cities, leaders of departments and sectors, provincial police, provincial military headquarter, department of transport, and department of health to direct people who are working at check-points and in self-management groups in localities to check and supervise the above-mentioned people. People’s committees at districts, towns and cities arrange facilities of isolation for these people who then have to pay for isolation duration.
-Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee also asks districts, towns and cities to postpone the operation of public entertainment areas, gardens, squares, and coastal waking streets…; not allow public gatherings of over two people. People are required to wear face masks while at public areas and maintain at least two-meter distance from one another. People who do not wear face masks at public areas will be strictly fined.
-As the social distancing period falls on the Easter and Buddha’s Birthday celebrations, Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee suggests leaders of religious establishments, people’s committees in districts, towns, and cities should encourage followers to strictly obey the Prime Minister’s Directive No.16.
-Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee assigns Department of Information and Communications, and Quang Ninh Media Group to make daily and weekly propaganda plans to help local people get more understanding and strictly follow measures against Covid-19.
