On Nov.19, in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh Department of Education and Training held a ceremony to celebrate the Vietnamese Teachers' Day and grant the noble awards to the excellent teachers in 2017.

Addressing the ceremony, Quang Ninh's Vice Chairwoman Vu Thi Thu Thuy congratulated the excellent teachers who have gained noble titles for their achievements in the previous school year, and hoped that they would continue their contributions to the education work of the province.
Emphasizing on the tasks in the upcoming time, the Vice Chairwoman of Quang Ninh assigned education sector to enhance education and training movements, and asked organizations and authorities at all levels to put high priority on upgrading facilities for schools and classes so as to creat the best learning conditions for all children, especially for those living in remote areas.
She also called for each teacher to continue learning and practicing life-long self-study following President Ho Chi Minh’s example to overcome difficulties and contribute initiatives and creativity to the sector’s improvement.
On this occasion, 5 excellent educators received the noble title by the State President, and 4 teachers who have great contributions to the education cause were granted with certification of merits by the Ministry of Education and Training.
