Quang Ninh celebrates Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day

On Oct. 6, Quang Ninh province held a meeting to celerate the Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day, October 13 with the participation of over 400 enterprises and associations.

The meeting attracted the participation of over 400 enterprises.

Prominent among those were Secretary of the provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Nguyen Xuan Ky, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of the provincial People’s Commitee Nguyen Van Thang, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Commitee Dang Huy Hau and Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Commitee Bui Van Khang.

Addressing the event, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Thang highlighted the significant role of local entrepreneurs and the business community in the province’s socio-economic development as well as the national security and defense.

So as to foster the province’s comprehensive development in the context of wide global integration, Quang Ninh leaders has issued flexible and timely solutions which have been effectively implemented by businesses, organizations and people from all walks of life.

The chairman highly appriciated considerable achievement that the business community in general and oustanding businessmen have obtained in recent years, especially their contributions on economic acelleration and social security.

He shared his hope for their constant efforts to make breakthroughs in producing and trading activities, well fulfil tax obligations and continue to make signifiant contributions to the development of the province.

The authorities will continue paying much attention to supporting businesses, improving the investment environment and improving the province’s competitiveness quality so that all of the enterprises can be operated in an open, supportive, transparent and fair business environment, the chairman underlined.

On the occasion of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day October 13, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thang granted the business community the best wishes and affirmed that provincial leaders, all levels, sectors and localities of the province would always give them active support.

On behalf of the business community and businessmen, Chairman of the provincial Business Association Pham Van The thanked for the authorities’s enthusiastic support which could be seen as a key motivation for local businesses to develop and make greater contributions to the development of the province.

As reported, there have been currently over 19,200 enterprises operating in Quang Ninh with, the total registered capital of more than over VND 184,300 billion.
