Quang Ninh province held a ceremony to meet with journalists and leaders of media agencis in the province at a meeting held on July 20 in Ha Long city on the occasion of the 93th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21).
On behalf of Quang Ninh’s leaders, Secretary Nguyen Van Doc praised the press sector for reporting timely on the the key issueses which are being conducted, covering all aspects of life and society, discovering new factors and effective models in various fields, and contributing to successfully fulfilling tasks on the social-economic development of the province.
Regarding the Draft law on Special Administrative and Economic Unit, he asked Press sector to continue to timely and adequately provide information about the Draft Law in order to update and raise the people’s understanding of the law.
“The sector should enhance propagating Quang Ninh’s efforts to foster the socio-economic development, the progress of the major projects and introducing oustanding individuals”, added the Secretary.
Mr. Nguyen Tien Manh, Chairman of the Quang Ninh Journalists Association, in turns, thanked the leaders of Quang Ninh for their support and encouragment for the sector, and pledged that the press sector will always accompany the province during the cause of construction and development.
