The Quang Ninh Journalists Association last week held a ceremony in Ha Long city to celebrate the 92nd anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925-2017).
Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party's Committee Nguyen Van Doc highly appreciated contributions by the media to the socio-economic development of the province over the years. Accordingly, the media contributed importantly to comprehensively propagating information about policies and mechanisms and supporting Quang Ninh to promote its image and advantages to attract investment and develop tourism.
Quang Ninh Party leader also congratulated Quang Ninh excellent jounarlists who have won the national and provincial Press awards, and encouraged them to continue to raise their roles, enhance their capabilities to continue to contribute to the provincce's development.
Mr. Nguyen Tien Manh, Chairman of the Quang Ninh Journalists Association sincerely thanked Quang Ninh leaders for their concerns to the Quang Ninh press over the years, especially their great encouragement for the journalists to fullfil their tasks.
On this occasion, Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee granted the Quang Ninh Awards in 2016 to 77 journalists, and merit certifications to excellent individuals who have made great contributions to the development of the Quang Ninh Journalists Association in 2016.
