On Feb. 13, Deputy Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee Ngo Hoang Ngan chaired a meeting with reprsentatives of Newzeland’s Auckland University of Technology (AUT) related to the cooperation in training human resource.
AUT is a partner of Quang Ninh in education and training. As reported, from 2016 to 2018, both sides collaborated to open 3 traning courses for Quang Ninh’s officials in the Newzeland and 2 classes in Quang Ninh province. Through the cources, participants were provided with useful knowledge and practical experiences.
Under the cooperation program, in 2019, classes and courses on logistics and seaport management, managing and developing services will be opened for Quang Ninh’s officials of departments and localities.
Highly appreciating the cooperation tie of Quang Ninh and AUT, Deputy Secretary Ngo Hoang Ngan emphasized that with the aim of becoming a modern service and industrial province by 2020, Quang Ninh always attaches importance to promoting education and training to enhance capability of the human resource. Therefore, Quang Ninh focuses on human resource training programs as well as consulting in the areas of tourism and services development, raising the quality of public administration management, new rural construction and political system development, etc.
He assigned Nguyen Van Cu Officials Training College and Ha Long university to closely collaborate with the AUT to set up plans for opening courses for the human resource training, and enhance learners exchange between Quang Ninh province and the AUT.
