Quang Ninh applies for recognition of 3 national treasures

Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee has submitted Document No.6784/UBND-VX1 to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to apply for recognition of 3 national treasures under the management of Quang Ninh Museum, including Quang Ninh bronze drum, multi-colored ceramic enamel tray, bronze box.

Accordingly, Quang Chinh Bronze Drum is a metal artifact dating back to around the third and second century BC. It was discovered in Quang Chinh Commune, Dam Ha District. The artifact owns its unique pattern layout with a 6-pointed star and the image of a crane flying clockwise.

The multi-colored ceramic enamel tray which dated back to the 15th century used to place offerings in religious ceremonies. It has the unique design decorated with 42 lotus petals.

The bronze box is a metal artifact dating back to the 13th -14th century. This artifact with impressive pattern representing Tran Dynasty’s culture is a rare and precious artwork.

If these above-mentioned artifacts are recognized, Quang Ninh will have 5 national treasures owned by Quang Ninh Museum.
