On Aug. 27, in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh’s Vice Chairwoman Vu Thi Thu Thuy hosted a reception for a delegation from Ninh Binh province led by Standing Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People’s Committee Tong Quang Thin on the occasion of his working visit to Quang Ninh to learn about experiences in organizing the National Tourism Year.
At the meeting, representatives of related departments and agencies of the two localities discussed and exchanged about experiences in setting up plan for the National Tourism Year, the organization of activities responding the event, tourism promotion and propaganda activities as well as ensuring safety and security for the event.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairwoman of Quang Ninh Vu Thi Thu Thuy emphasized that The National Tourism Year 2018 in Ha Long - Quang Ninh has positive impacts on Quang Ninh’s soio-economic development in general and the tourism development in particular, thereby, continuing to confirm Quang Ninh as an attractive destination for not only domestic but also international visitors.
Having said that, she affirmed that Quang Ninh will actively coordinate with Ninh Binh province to draw plans and prepare the best conditions for the National Tourism Year 2020 which is scheduled to take place in Ninh Binh. She also assigned the Department of Tourism to connect with localities in the province and make a plan to organize activities responding the National Tourism Year 2020 in Ninh Binh. In addition, the Vice Chairwoman also hoped that the cooperation in developing sustainable tourism between the two sides would be more effectively in the upcoming time.
On behalf of the delegation, Standing Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh People's Committee Tong Quang Thin sincerely thanked Quang Ninh's leaders for working with the delegation, and strongly affirmed that Quang Ninh's experiences will be valuable lessons for Ninh Binh to learn to successfully organize the National Tourism Year 2020.
