On Sept. 25, a delegation led by Lieutenant General Vongkham Phomakon, Director of the General Department of Logistics of the Lao People’s Army, paid a visit and exchanged experience with Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command. Major General Le Hong Dung, Deputy Director of the General Department of Logistics of the Vietnam People’s Army and leader of the 3th Military Region Command under the Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command received the delegation.
At the meeting, the leader of the Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command introduced to the delegation the tradition and results of implementing the national defense and military of the provincial armed forces, especially logistics tasks. The two sides focused on discussing combat potential and logistics potential at provincial and district - level defense areas, fostering and educating knowledge of national defense and security.
On behalf of the delegation, Lieutenant General Vongkham Phomakon thanked the support from the General Deparment of Logistics of the Vietnam People’s Army and the Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command. He highly appreciated the results that the Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command achieved over the years and considered them as valuable experiences to be put into practice.
