Secretary of the Provincial Party’s Committee cum Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council Nguyen Van Doc had a courtesy meeting with a delegation of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) led by Comrade Lu Xinshe, Secretary of the Party’s Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on March 19, in Ha Long City.
At the reception, Secretary Nguyen Van Doc warmly welcomed the delegation to Quang Ninh province. He strongly affirmed that the long-term traditional relationship is regarded as the valuable property of the two countries’ parties and people. It has been tightened through the visits paid by senior leaders of both Vietnam and China. Along with the development of the relationship between the two countries, the friendship and cooperation tie between Vietnam’s Quang Ninh and China’s Guangxi provinces has continuously gained significant results, becoming a model in the cooperation tie of localities in both countries.
In recent years, under the direction of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee, a wide range of exchange programs and regular talks have been held by the four border localities of Quang Ninh province in an attempt to enhance friendship of the two countries’ people; security in the bordering areas of both sides have been basically secured, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of Quang Ninh and Guangxi.
The Secretary of Quang Ninh Party’s Committee wished that relevant functional authorities of both sides will enhance state management and raising the effectiveness of operating activities of the border gates. In addition, he hoped tourism development and human resource training between the two sides would also be intensified, aiming at building a friendly, peaceful, stable and developed Vietnam-China borderline.
For his part, Secretary of the Party’s Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Lu Xinshe sincerely thanked Quang Ninh’s leaders for their cordial reception. Highly appreciating the strong growth of Quang Ninh over the past years, Secretary Lu Xinshe wished that the solidarity and cooperation between Quang Ninh and Guangxi provinces in all fields would be further developed in the future. He particularly focused on the vital role of Bac Luan II Bridge, which will help to foster the trade and economic development of the two localities.
He also hoped that this visit would greatly contribute to promote the cooperation between the two sides in trade, economy, tourism, security, defense and crime prevention.
