On Nov. 28, in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh's Standing Vice Chairman Dang Huy Hau had a working session with a delegation of government and businessmen of Asahikawa city (Japan).
At the reception, Vice Chairman Dang Huy Hau introduced to the guests a snapshot of Quang Ninh development and innovation, especially in infrastructure upgrade, administrative reform, as well as hi-quality human resource training. He particularly stressed that Quang Ninh made great efforts in improving bussiness climate so as to allure domestic and foreign investors into Quang Ninh, including the Japanese enterprises whose projects are being implemented in the province.
Quang Ninh’s Vice Chairman also stressed on the cooperation tie between Quang Ninh and Japanese enterprieses and localities in the fields of environmental protection, agriculture, sciences and technology appliance.
Focusing on the partnership between Quang Ninh and Asahikawa city’s government and enterprises, Mr. Dang Huy Hau said that after two years of implementing cooperation agreements between the two provinces, a number of projects on agriculture, environment and education have been implemeted, resulting important achievements.
For his part, Chairman of Asahikawa city, Nishikawa Mashahito hoped that those possitve results in agricultural area between the two sides would be the vital base for the cooperation in other areas, especially in environmental protection and science-technology appliance to produce hi-quality agricultural products.
Also at the session, representatives of Quang Ninh and Asahikawa’s functional organizations and enterprises strongly affirmed that the cooperation tie between the two sides have been strongly reflected through the implementation of projects in various fields in Quang Ninh, such as: Medical waste treatment and management; cooperation project between Viet Long and Greentext and Chodai companies in improving the land and using pesticide in agriculture procduction.
On this occasion, thoses three companies signed another new project on researching, applying and transfering technologies in producing probiotics to protect agricultural plants in Quang Ninh.
