Recently, before summiting to the PM for consideration and approval, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just sent official document to the National Cultural Heritage Council requesting the Council’s review of the 11 nominations for special national relics. This is the third submission in 2012 to the PM regarding the recognition of special national relics.
11 nominations for special national cultural relics in the 3rd submission includes Yen Tu Mountain (in Quang Ninh); Bach Dang Victoria in 1288 (Quang Ninh); Ba Be lake (Bac Kan); art architecture of Tran Temple and Pho Minh Pagoda (Nam Dinh); Keo pagoda ( Thai Binh); historic relic and art architecture Lam Kinh (Thanh Hoa); historic relic Nguyen Du (Ha Tinh); archeological relic Oc Eo-Ba The (An Giang); Go Thap (Dong Thap); Co Loa ( Ha Noi) and Cat Tien National Park (Lam Dong).
Earlier , Ha Long Bay was recognized as special national relics in the first submission to the PM in 2009.
