On May 22nd, in Ha Long city, Vice-Chairwomen of QNPPC Vu Thi Thu Thuy had a meeting with Mr. Truong Nam Thang- a senior official in developing and training human source for tourism sector (under EU project in Vietnam), along with delegates of the project on Environment and Society Responsible Tourism Development.
At the reception, Mr. Truong Nam Thang sincerely thanked for Quang Ninh's interest in the project. He treasured the beauty of its landscape, especially Ha Long bay and stressed that Quang Ninh is always an important venue. As the project particularly focuses on developing local human resource. The representative of EU project suggessted that QNPPC should have more specific support to promote the effectiveness of the project. Additionally, some participants also raised their proposals to draw a skill frame in order to develop tourism services satisfying the standard of Asian countries, meeting the increasing demand of tourism sector.
The Vice-Chairwoman of QNPPC Thuy sincerily thanked the delegation's contribution to continuously promote the effectiveness of tourism projects aiming at boosting the image of Quang Ninh tourism to the world.
In addition, Thuy recommended that the number of the trainees under the project in Quang Ninh should be extended, especially tourism officials who really need to be improved in terms of tourism skills. The QNPPC will provide the best conditions so that the project could be smoothly implemented.
