On Feb.15, in Ha Long city, QNPPC's Chairman Nguyen Duc Long had a coutersy meeting with Ms. Jannette Arnold, the Chairwoman of London City Council (U.K).
At the meeting, Quang Ninh's Chairman made an introduction of the province's potentials and strengths, including Ha Long Bay- the world natural heritage site. He added that, Quang Ninh is conducting a great deal of comprehensive measures in order to protect the heritage and promote its values.
For her part, Ms. Jannette Arnold sincerely thanked Quang Ninh's leaders for their cordial reception. She said that this is the 4th time, she has visited Ha Long Bay and this time, she can see clearly the rapid development of this beautiful city. It shows that Quang Ninh is on the righ direction of focusing on tourism development. She believed that base on the very good relationship between Vietnam and the U.K, the connection of Ha Long and London would be further strengthened in the future.
