QNPPC meets Japanese businesses

On Jul. 16th, in Ha Long city, QNPPC received and worked with a delegation of Japanese businesses led by Mr. Hirokaza Yamaoka, Chief Representative of Jetro (Japan External Trade Organization). The meeting was attended by Mr. Pham Minh Chinh, Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Doc - Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provicial People's  Committee and other provincial leaders.

In his speech at the meeting, Doc welcomes the Japanese businesses to Quang Ninh to explore investment opportunities. He affirmed that Quang Ninh always attached importance to cooperate with Japanese investors, espeacially through the JETRO. On behalf of the provincial leaders, Doc made a strong commitment thatQuang Ninh will accompany the Japanese businesses in their projects in the province and ensure stable and atrractive investment environment. Quang Ninh plans to regularly hold cultural exchange programs so as to enhance the relationship between the two sides.

At the meeting, Chairman Doc anwsered all the questions focusing on policies of traning human resources; mechanisms to attract investment and incentives for enterprises who invest in Quang Ninh. He pledged that all of the issues raised by the Japanese businesses will be soon fullfiled by QNPPC, and stressed that the Halong- Haiphong expressway project construction will be kicked off in the upcoming time.

Speaking at the party to welcome the the delegation, Secretary Pham Minh Chinh strongly affirmed that, Quang Ninh always give the first priority to Japanese investors in its investment strategy. He added that there would be no difficulty but benefit in this cooperation.

Previously, the delegation had undertaken the surveys to Dong Mai Industrial Zone (in Quang Yen town), Cai Lan Port and Ha Long Center Market.
