Provincial road No.342 to be accomplished in Q2 2024

Currently, the project progress of Provincial Road No 342 has been speeding up to ensure that the road can be open to traffic within the second quarter of 2024.

The project to upgrade provincial road 342 connecting Ha Long City with Lang Son province was officially launched in May, 2022.

This road is expected to facilitate trade activities between Lang Son and Quang Ninh. It will also link Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong and Hanoi, creating a closed route to serve economic and tourism development.

The project to renovate and upgrade Provincial Road No. 342 through Ba Che district has a total length of nearly 21km. The starting point links to Ha Long city’s Ky Thuong commune at Km37+50 and the ending point connects with Bac Lang commune, Dinh district Lap (Lang Son province) at Km58+405.
The main concrete structures of 4 bridges have already been built.
Cross-road culverts and assembled culverts have been completed.
The construction of carpet work is expected to have been accomplished by Tet holiday.

The last section of the route adjacent to Lang Son province has been under construction. The road is scheduled to open to traffic within the second quarter of 2024.
