On the occasion of 81 year anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, March 26 (1931-2012), the Provincial Party Secretary Pham Minh Chinh had a talk with Quang Ninh Youth with the theme of “Young people contribute to the development of a green, clean, and beautiful Quang Ninh”.
Speaking at the meeting, Chinh highly praised and acknowledged the achievements that the provincial Youth Union has made in recent years. He stressed that young people have not only intellectual knowledge but also ambition so they must continuously strive, train themselves to settle their life and career in order to contribute to the country in general and especially their homeland. He confirmed that the Quang Ninh will accompany and pay its concern to young people in their process of settling their life and career.
Chinh emphasized that Quang Ninh strives to basically become by 2015 an industrial province oriented to modernization in compliance with environmental protection. Thus, he made a request at the talk that all members of the Youth Union have to promote their youth, talent, intellectual knowledge, and especially voluntary spirit to develop a green, clean, and beautiful Quang Ninh. This must be considered as one of their key and continuous tasks in the coming time.
With the spirit of openness and frankfulness of the talk, the Provincial Party Leader has exchanged, directed and responded to a number of questions by the Youth Union Members focusing on various issues, including socio-economic development, green growth, environmental protection associated with the development of industry in general and coal industry in particular, the mechanisms and policies of the State, Party and Province to support conservation and development of Ha Long Bay…
The talk has really become a festival creating opportunities for Quang Ninh Youth to not only contribute their ideas on the implementation of the guidelines and direction of the province for socio-economic development but also propose active measures to solve the Youth’s current problems.
