On Mar. 1, a delegation of Embassy of Italy led by Mr. Nicolo Costantrini, the first secretary of Embassy of Italy, along with leaders of the ACF Fiorentina football team paid a visit to Quang Ninh.
Vu Thi Thu Thuy, Quang Ninh's Vice Chairwomanbriefed to the delegation a snap short of Quang Ninh's potential and advatages for socio-economic, cultural and sport development. She stressed that Quang Ninh is currently implementing robust measures to improve its investment environment, enhancing the quality of human resource to effectively attract foreign and domestic investment in the key fields, such as touirism, culture, industry and infrastructure development. Especially, Quang Ninh has 2 football teams (women team and men team) which are among the best football teams of Vietnam. She highly aprreciated the cooperation tie between Italia and Vietnam, and hoped this visit would open possible cooperation opportunities for Quang Ninh province and Italia, for instance in tourism and football.
For his part, Mr. Nicolo Costantrini expressed his thanks for the cordial reception of Quang Ninh province and impressed of the recent development of Vietnam in general and Quang Ninh province in term of infrastructure, services, tourism, culture, sports and commerce.
