On Apr. 28, Quang Ninh held a groundbreaking ceremony of the Cua Luc No 1 Bridge project over the Cua Luc Bay, connecting the South and the North of Ha Long City.
The investor of this 2.1 tril VND project is the Quang Ninh Management Board of Civil and Industrial Projects. As designed, the bridge has total route of 4,265 m, with the arch steel pipe structure and six lanes for vehicles; 33.1 m wide and 290 m long; Navigational Clearance 40x7 m; the access bridge is 565 m long and access road is 3,380 m long.
The bridge will be finished by the end of 2021, contributing to gradually completing the traffic infrastructure, facilitating transportation and meeting travel demand, attracting more investors to Ha Long City after Hoanh Bo District was merged into Ha Long city.
