On Aug 31, at Quang Ninh Exhibition of Planning and Expo Center, Quang Ninh Department of Industry and Trade in coordination with the Domestic Market Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, New Rural Construction Board and Quang Ninh Department of Tourism held a Product Comsumption Connection Conference under the theme of enhancing linkage actitivities in the Vietnamese goods supply chain and supporting sustainable connection between manufacturers and distributors.
At the conference, the Quang Ninh Department of Industry and Trade and Quang Ninh OCOP Steering Committee shared about the way in which Quang Ninh has promoted trade and fostered OCOP product consumption. Besides the core issue concerning the promotion of product quality of OCOP production units, Quang Ninh has supported the improvement of packaging designs, origin tracing stamps and actively brought Quang Ninh OCOP products to domestic and international agricultural fairs. To meet locals’ consumption demands in the Industry 4.0 era, Quang Ninh Province has built an e-commerce website techni.gov.vn to promote OCOP products.
With the aim of continuing to promote the consumption of Quang Ninh OCOP products, the Quang Ninh Department of Industry and Trade also signed cooperation agreements with the Departments of Industry and Trade of Hanoi, Hoa Binh, Ninh Binh and Tay Ninh. As a result, to date 37 OCOP enterprises and product distribution and consumption enterprises have signed cooperation for product consumption.
