Practical actions respond to environmental protection

Quang Ninh People's Committee held a meeting in response to World Environment Day (June 5), World Ocean Day (June 8), Sea and Island Week (June 1 - 8), National Action Month for the environment (June, 2019).

World Environment Day 2019 under the theme “Air pollution and our actions” has encouraged all people to protect the air and reduce harmful substances into the environment from daily life, production and business activities.

World Ocean Day 2019 themed  "Gender and Ocean" has aimed to mobilize all humanity to unite for the purpose of preserving marine and ocean resources, spreading and inspiring towards gender equality, empowering women and girls in ocean related areas.

The event aimed at calling on people to actively implement practical actions, typical models against plastic waste at offices, families, wards, thereby protecting the environment and communities’ health, as well as promoting the values of natural resources.
