A photo exhibition is taking place at the Vietnam Culture and Arts Exhibition Centre in Hanoi until March 30, highlighting the concern of Party and State leaders for the people as well as the spring atmosphere around the country.

President Ho Chi Minh visited and extended Tet greetings to people in Viet Hung commune, Gia Lam district, Hanoi on February 8, 1958. (Photo: File photo displayed at the exhibition)

The exhibition was divided into two themes: “Spring for the Party” and “Spring colours in all regions of the country”.

Specifically, 40 documentary photos featured the concerns and affection of President Ho Chi Minh and the Party and State leaders over generations for the people around the country through their letters, poems and visits on the occasion of Tet (Lunar New Year) Festival.

They especially highlighted the Party’s and State’s care for policy beneficiaries, people living in difficulties due to natural disasters and pandemics, the locals of remote areas, and ethnic minority groups.

Meanwhile, the second part of the exhibition displays over 100 photos featuring the beautiful landscapes as well as the joyful atmosphere in all regions during spring.

Visitors can learn about the festivals, customs, and art performances of all ethnic groups in celebration of Lunar New Year.

In addition, many images of overseas Vietnamese in many countries and territories around the world celebrating Tet festival and returning home to join the “Xuan que huong” (Homeland Spring) programme are also being introduced at the exhibition.

The exhibition is also being introduced via the website of the Vietnam Culture and Art Exhibition Centre at trienlamvhnt.vn.
