On Mar. 30, in Ha Long City, Standing Vice-Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee (QNPPC) Nguyen Nhu Hien received Minister of the Presidential Office of Laos Phongsavath Boupha and his spouse, who are on a visit to Quang Ninh province, in Ha Long city on March 30.
At the reception, Hien emphasized that the delegation’s visit contributes to enhance the close-knit tie between the two countries in general and relationship between Quang Ninh and other provinces of Laos in particular. Vice-Chairman of QNPPC also introduced to the delegation about socio-economic development, geography and advantages of the province and its sustainable development orientation in the future. Also at the reception, he proudly informed the delegation about the event that Ha Long has officially become one of the new 7 natural wonders of the world.
For his part, Minister of the Presidential Office of Laos Phongsavath Boupha highly appreciated the achievements that Quang Ninh has made in recent years; at the same time, he expressed his pleasure with good relationship that has been continuously enhanced in all of areas between Quang Ninh and 3 provinces of Laos. Mr. Phongsavath Boupha affirmed that Laos will make its best efforts to promote the cooperative and friendly tie between the two nations so that it can be futher and effectively developed.
On this occasion, Phongsavath Boupha and his entourage visited Ha Long bay and other tourism spots in Ha Long city. The delegation left Quang Ninh to continue their working visit in Vietnam, on April 1st.
