On Sept 20th, a delegation led by Head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for Organization Pham Minh Chinh had a working session with Quang Ninh Provincial Standing Party's Committee. Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee Secretary, cum Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People Council, Nguyen Xuan Ky, and Deputy Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, cum Chairman of Quang Ninh People's Committee, Nguyen Van Thang, attended the meeting.
Delivering a speech at the working session, Mr. Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that Quang Ninh’s achievements in all aspects over recent years had proved the province were on the right track with strategic vision and breakthrough thoughts. Quang Ninh had upheld its self-reliance, potential and strengths with high unity and consensus.
Quang Ninh’s economic growth in the period of 2016-2018 reached 10.5%. The figure is expected to be 11.1% for the period 2026-2020. Economic structure is developed sustainably and economic growth model is shifted from “brown” to “green” growth in line with environmental protection.
Quang Ninh has conducted administrative reforms decisively via the establishment of publicadministration service center at all level, creating favorable conditions for administrative procedure performance, thus improving the satisfaction among local people and enterprises.
