Quang Ninh received more than 6.5 million arrivals, up 26 % in comparion with the same period last year, including over 2.17 million international arrivals, a rise of 12 %. The total revenue from tourism is estimated at more than VND 11 billion, up 32% against the same period of last year.
The province was chosen to be the host of the National Tourism Year 2018. Accordingly, functional authorities have focused on the management of the tourism activities and tourism environment.
The tourism sector has intensified propaganda and inspection activities to create healthy tourism environment including the enhancement of service quality; the restoration and promotion of the historical and cultural relics; inspection and management of the travel agents and tourguiders, etc.
