According to Quang Ninh Tourism Department, it is estimated that over 50 international cruise ship arrivals to Ha Long Bay in 2017. Saigontourist and Tan Hong travel agencies based in Quang Ninh receive the cruises.

As reported, Ha Long received 55 international cruise ship arrivals in 2016, bringing nearly 60,000 tourists from China, England, the U.S, Australia, France, Canada…to the Ha Long Bay world heritage site. The increasing number of the international cruise ship arrivals reflects the attraction of Ha Long Bay for passengers from the cruise ships in particular and international tourists in general.
