In the first 6 months of 2016, 51,000 tourist arrivals visited Quang Ninh museum, of which international arrivals ocuppied 40%; the total revenue from selling tickets gained more than VND 1.3 bln, according to the report of Quang Ninh Museum.
In the last 6 months of the year, Quang Ninh museum continues to focus on promotion and communication activities in order to attract more domestic and international visitors to the museum; collaborating with the Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited to hold a special exhibition celebrating the 80th anniversary of Coal industry traditional day (Nov. 12). The museum also closely works with domestic travel agencies to design tour programs and promote the museum's image and its artifacts to attract visitors from all over the world.
