According to the Organizing Board of the National Food Festival 2018, more than 30,000 tourist arrivals flocked to the festival, which took place from September 28 to October 1 at Sun World Halong Complex in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province.
With 70 booths introducing not only typical dishes from Quang Ninh but also Viet Nam’s culinary art and delicious specialties from other different regions and localities. The festival aims to honour and promote gastronomy of the localities around the country. At the same time, it also created opportunities for restaurants, hotels, and cruises to exchange experience in improving tourism service quality.
Organized by the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee in cooperation with the Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism, the event is a part of activities for the National Tourism Year 2018, in which Quang Ninh is the host.
