On Feb. 11, the see-off ceremonies for the newly-recruited soldiers were held at the cities and districts across the province.
On this occasion, 1,900 citizens joined military service and 151 ones joined police service. Of which, 351 from Ha Long city, 248 from Cam Pha city, 179 from Uong Bi city, 242 from Quang Yen town, 247 from Dong Trieu town, 63 from Ba Che district, 117 from Tien Yen district, 80 from Binh Lieu district, 95 from Dam Ha district, 140 from Hai Ha district, 100 from Hoanh Bo distrit, 149 from Mong Cai district, 97 from Van Don district and 8 from Co To island district.
In the context of the 2019-nCoV outbreak, localities were directed to strictly organize the see-off ceremonies in compliance with requirements of ensuring the best conditions for the prevention and control of nCoV epidemic, but still creating a formal and cosy atmosphere of a significant event for the youth.
