This international competition is for teams of four students who are winners of the National Biology Olympiads (NBO) and have not yet to declare matriculation at a tertiary institution. Individual competitors would sit for an intensive examination with problem sets on theories and experiments. Their merits in attempting to solve these problems are awarded with gold, silver, bronze medals or honorable mentions according to their level of achievement.
