Tourist arrivals reached nearly 5.3 million in the first 7 months of this year, up 12% against the same period last year, and 70.3% of this year’s target.
Of which, the number of international tourist arrivals gained more than 1.4 million, up 55.2% of the tentative plan; tourists’ overnight stays is over 2.3 million, accounting for 78.3% of this year’s plan.
Tourism revenue in July reached 2,939 billion VND, which accounted for 56.2% of the plan and up 12% over the same period of last year. The number of tourist arrivals to Quang Ninh reached more than 529,000, the total earning from tourism is estimated to gain VND 359 billion.
