A blood donation program held at Bai Chay Hospital and Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital collected approximately 300 units of blood from donnors.
The event jointly organized by the Youth Union of Ha Long city, Bai Chay Hospital, Quang Ninh Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital and the Quang Ninh Blood Club is among activities responding the 88th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Red Spring Festival and the Youth Month of 2019.
The event aimed to help reduce blood scarcity for medical treatment, saving many people’s lives.
It attracted the participation of hundreds of youth members. 205 units of blood was collected at Bai Chay Hospital and 85 units was donated at Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital.
