According to Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Quang Ninh received 2,952 mln tourist arrivals in the first quarter of 2015, exceeding 38.3% of the year's plan. The total tourism revenue is estimated to be VND 1,618 bln, seeing a rise of 99% over the same period of the last year.
Of which, 790,000 million foreign tourist arrivals, up to 1% of the same period in 2014; 850,000 tourist staying overnight in the province -equal to 98% compared to the same period of 2014.
In April and May, 2015, Quangninh is expected to receive a great number of both domestic and foreign tourist to the province, due to many big holidays ( April, 30th and May, 1st).
