On Dec 9th, the Government Office held an online meeting to launch the national public service portal. The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam.
Quang Ninh’s Chairman, Nguyen Van Thang, and Standing Deputy Secretary Ngo Hoang Ngan, and leaders from provincial departments also joined the online event.
The national public service portal plays an important role in building E-government, creating an electronic platform to connect the Government with people and enterprises.
At the time of being launched, it offered five online public services in all 63 provinces and cities, including renewing driving licenses, announcement of promotion activities, reissuance of health insurance cards, provision of electricity services, and payment of electricity bills.
At the launching ceremony, Quang Ninh was among the three first provinces and cities nationwide to connect with the national public service portal providing public administrative services to people, enterprises, and organizations.
