According to Quang Ninh’s Department of Tourism, Quang Ninh received 900,000 tourist arrivals during Tet Festival (Jan 23rd – 29th), a year on year increase of 11%, bringing in a revenue of nearly 1,2 trillion VND.
Specifically, the province welcomed 185,000 international arrivals, up by 9% compared to the same period last year. The number of staying guest arrivals reached more than 40,000. Ha Long Bay welcomed 59,000 tourist arrivals, including more than 50,000 foreign tourist arrivals. During this period, 44 flights landed at Van Don International Airport with 4,700 passengers, including 562 international arrivals. British-flag Diamond Princess Cruise Ship bringing 2,700 passengers from 38 countries docked at Ha Long International Cruise Port.
